Change your Gmail password
A strong password for your email, different from all your other accounts.

Step 1
Open the password page
Open myaccount.google.com ← "Security" ← "Password" (under "How you sign in to Google").

Type the new password
Enter your current password to confirm, then the new one twice, and tap "Change password".
Tip: 12 characters or more, or a phrase of 4 unrelated words. Check its strength in Sndak: "Check" ← "Password strength".

Review your devices
On the "Security" page ← "Your devices" ← "Manage all devices". Sign out of any device you don't recognize.
Tip: Google usually signs out other devices after a password change, but check for yourself.

Don't reuse it anywhere else
Your email password must never be used anywhere else.
Tip: Whoever knows your email password can recover all your other accounts in your name.
